ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - The Washington Redskins are holding general
admission ticket prices steady for the third straight year because
of the troubled economy.
The team announced Wednesday that prices, ranging from $29 to
$99, will remain the same for the 2009 season. The team has
increased general admission prices only twice (in 2000 and 2006)
since Dan Snyder bought the team in 1999.
Mitch Gershman, the team's chief operating officer, says the
team is "obviously sensitive to the economic realities faced by
our fans."
The Redskins have sold out every home game since 1966.
